The happens just after Dirk stumbles across a major insurance fraud in the shipping industry after a discharge of banned chemical warfare agent. With the KGB interference and Russian government double dealing and the fraudster keen to dispose of Pitt there is a lot going on in this gripping adventure. Perhaps a bit far fetched but a well constructed story. Cussler at his best.
